Pools by John Clarkson, also known as PBJC, is a family-owned operation, serving North Florida for three generations. PBJC is a member of Aquatech, an exclusive society of top notch pool builders. There are only seven Aquatech builders in Florida, and less than 200 in the world.

Grandpa Clarkson first started building pools in North Florida in 1957. His son John Clarkson worked with him throughout the 60’s, 70’s, and 80’s as did most of the other major pool builders in this area.
In 1989 John founded Pools By John Clarkson, and with his son Jordan Clarkson they’ve served well over a thousand happy home owners.
PBJC has been recognized as a “Top 50 Pool Builder” by Pool and Spa News. And while PBJC may be larger than most of the other Northern Florida pool builders, they've never lost that distinctive "family atmosphere."
The Aquatech Society
PBJC is proud to be recognized as an Aquatech pool builder - a collaboration of pool builders from across the country and the world who work together to share their knowledge and talents for common good.
The exclusive Aquatech Society will accept no pool builder other than those that meet their strict standards for quality construction, business ethics, and impeccable reputations. Less than 1% of all pool builders in America have been approved to join the ranks of Aquatech builders.

Our Mascot
If you've ever visited our facilities in Jacksonville, then you have most certainly met our beloved chocolate Labrador mascot, Wrigley.
Wrigley is actually now a famous TV celebrity. He was the star of a recent edition of "Animal Attraction" on PBS.
